“Need I Remind You There Was an Election in November…?”

Americans are blithely excusing such expenditures as Presidential and Congressional jaunts, expensive photo ops, bailouts of institutions deserving imprisonment of their leadership for fraud against the people. “Regular folks”, as his highness refers to us, must pay for the excesses of White House Black-tie parties, maid, butler, and chauffer services, and the elevation of Cabinet Members to the status of Princes and Barons. At one time (just several months ago) the news media was all about criticizing such bloat.

The U.S. National Debt is stretching across the world. Once the richest and most productive nation in the world, the U.S. is finding itself debtor to countries that, prior to 1975, were not recognized by the Americans, including the ROC, a major player in the BRIC group. Antithetically to foundational tenets of the U.S. and despite clear lack of progress toward relaxation of the iron hand China has upon it’s populace, human rights in that nation remains an issue. Despite attempts to placate the rumbling cries of “foul!” by human rights grouops, the American government has one blind eye turned in an Oriental orientation. This, and an ever-growing monetary debt owed to the ROC by America, places the State teetering on the pinnacle of a  precarious political precipice. There is small cause to celebrate.
